Information about us

Rainbow Rights is a self-advocacy group run by and for people with an intellectual disability in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTIQA+) community who have joined together to have our voices heard within the LGBTIQA+ community and the general community and to support each other.

We meet fortnightly to discuss issues, think of ways to take our message out into the community and to plan events and activities.

We work together to make sure we have the same rights, choices and opportunities as everyone else.
